Wat is arbeidsmarktcommunicatie?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Voordat ik start met uitleggen waarom persoonlijke arbeidsmarktcommunicatie belangrijk is, eerst een kort antwoord op de vraag: \u2018Wat is arbeidsmarktcommunicatie?\u2019 Arbeidsmarktcommunicatie is communicatie die erop gericht is om personeel te werven dat goed bij jouw organisatie past. Het is verstandig dit planmatig aan te pakken. Zo zorg je voor een consistente boodschap, waardoor potenti\u00eble werknemers jouw communicatie steeds meer gaan herkennen. Voor je start met arbeidsmarktcommunicatie, kijk je eerst naar je eigen organisatie. Welke personen passen in dit bedrijf? Wanneer je dat weet, kijk je met welke boodschap je ze aanspreekt. Vervolgens is het zaak om deze boodschap continu te blijven herhalen, zodat de juiste werknemers zich aangetrokken gaan voelen tot jouw organisatie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daarvoor is het belangrijk om het verhaal van jouw bedrijf duidelijk te vertellen. Waar sta je voor? Wat is de bedrijfscultuur? Kortom: wat kunnen toekomstige collega\u2019s verwachten wanneer ze bij je komen werken? Dat gaat verder dan een standaard vacaturetekst. Persoonlijke arbeidsmarktcommunicatie vertelt iets over je bedrijfscultuur. Het vertelt het verhaal van jouw organisatie, vanuit het perspectief van werknemers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om duidelijk te maken hoe arbeidsmarktcommunicatie eruit kan zien, schetsen we een fictief voorbeeld van een technische dienstverlener. Goede techneuten zijn voor hen lastig te vinden. Er solliciteren wel mensen op de vacatures, maar vaak blijkt het uiteindelijk geen match. Hierdoor is er veel verloop binnen het bedrijf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We beginnen met kijken naar de organisatie: Wat zo uniek is, is dat de techneuten veel autonomie hebben. Met dit duidelijke beeld van de cultuur binnen het bedrijf, gaan we de arbeidsmarktcommunicatie opzetten. Omdat alle collega\u2019s veel verantwoordelijkheid hebben, zetten we vijf collega\u2019s in de spotlights. We maken een \u2018werken bij\u2019 gedeelte op de website, waar we hun verhaal gaan vertellen: wie zijn ze, wat doen ze en wat vinden ze zo leuk aan werken bij dit bedrijf. Het verhaal vertellen we op de website in tekst, ondersteund met mooie portretfoto\u2019s van de vijf collega\u2019s. We focussen hun verhalen op de verantwoordelijkheid en de sociale aspecten, want nieuwe collega\u2019s moeten zich daardoor thuisvoelen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om te zorgen dat zoveel mogelijk mensen de verhalen lezen, maken we ook een campagne. De foto\u2019s worden, samen met mooie quotes uit de verhalen, verwerkt tot online advertenties die we plaatsen waar de doelgroep zich bevindt. Ook nemen we korte video\u2019s op met de collega\u2019s. Hierin vertellen ze hun verhaal ook op beeld. Deze video’s komen op de site, maar delen we ook via social media. Consequent blijven we benadrukken hoe de cultuur binnen het bedrijf is. Dus wanneer er een vacature is, verwijzen we ook naar deze speciale pagina\u2019s op de website. Zo vinden de juiste nieuwe collega\u2019s hun weg naar het bedrijf en daalt het verloop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klein beginnen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bovenstaand voorbeeld van arbeidsmarktcommunicatie klinkt wellicht als een heel moeilijke operatie, met website, fotografie, video en campagne. Maar je kunt arbeidsmarktcommunicatie ook rustig opbouwen. Belangrijkst is om te weten wie er bij je passen. Heb je een salesorganisatie, dan zoek je iemand die een kick krijgt van verkopen. Heb je echter vooral maatschappelijke idealen, dan is een echte verkoper wellicht niet de juiste persoon. Als je weet wie je zoekt, leg dan eens je huidige vacatures langs die lat. Bekijk ook eens de introtekst van je vacaturepagina. Komt dit overeen? Vervolgens kun je eens een collega aan het woord laten in een blog, of via een van je social media kanalen. Zolang je dit planmatig doet, met jouw gewenste doelgroep in het achterhoofd, ben je goed op weg met arbeidsmarktcommunicatie. En hoe persoonlijker die communicatie is, hoe meer goede matches je aantrekt uit de arbeidsmarkt.
